WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW: A trough of low pressure will remain in
the vicinity of Eastern Nevada this afternoon through Wednesday. 
An atmospheric disturbance will dive southward along the trough of
low pressure Wednesday night and Thursday. Precipitation
associated with this atmospheric disturbance should remain
northeast of Elko County. Zonal flow aloft will prevail Thursday
night and Friday. A ridge of high pressure will build
northwestward across the Silver State this weekend into early next
week. A warming trend is expected Wednesday through Sunday. By
Sunday afternoon, high temperatures will be around ten degrees
above normal for this time of year. 

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS: High forecast confidence
regarding a warming trend Wednesday through Sunday. Moderate
forecast confidence in high temperatures Sunday afternoon about
ten degrees above normal for this time of year. No deviations from
the NBM model output.

VFR conditions will prevail at all terminals through at least the
next 24 hours. North wind gusts near 20 knots anticipated at KTPH
and KELY this afternoon into this evening.

.FIRE WEATHER...
A warming trend is expected Wednesday through Sunday. By Sunday
afternoon, high temperatures across Northern and Central Nevada 
will be around ten degrees above normal for this time of year. 
Precipitation associated with an atmospheric impulse should remain
northeast of Elko County Wednesday night and Thursday. Minimal
thunderstorm chances will persist.
