Current radar shows light snow showers across the northwest portion of Larimer County at this time. Current webcam pointed at the Bull Mountain area (just east of your locations) shows cloudy conditions but no precipitation at this time. Light rain/snow showers will remain possible for the next few hours before it's expected to transition southward and away from the SAR location, with no new accumulations expected. Temps are currently hovering around the freezing mark at the ROACH SNOTEL observation site which is about 1,000' higher than the SAR location (9,700'), but observations are sparse outside of that. Expect temps to be a little warmer at the lower elevations while the sun is still up, dropping into the mid 20s overnight. Winds are expected to remain light and variable (under 10 mph) for the overnight hours. For Wednesday, clearing skies are expected through the morning with temps expected to warm into the 50s for the afternoon. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will be possible, but latest guidance keeps the majority of activity to the south of your location. Best chance for storm development (20-25% chance) would be along the higher elevations between 1200-1500. Winds should generally remain light throughout the day with gusts between 10-15 mph possible. No precipitation is expected overnight and temps are forecast to drop into the mid to upper 20s. .REST OF TONIGHT... Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (60-70 percent).
