Isolated storms off to the northwest are moving south-southwest around 20 MPH, and will likely remain west of the area through daybreak. Outflow coming off these storms will also likely stay off to the west. Surface winds are light (around 5 MPH) and will be primarily out of the south, but may become light and variable at times due to the weak wind field in place. Will need to watch for additional development over Oklahoma later in the morning as an upper level disturbance approaches, which could bring some precipitation and erratic winds to the area late morning into the afternoon, though chances are only around 20%. That may be the only chance for rain for a while, as high pressure re-strengthens and shuts off rain chances on Sunday through early next week. Otherwise, the heat will continue with triple digit highs expected. Max RH around 60% this morning will be followed by a min RH around 25% this afternoon. .REST OF TONIGHT...
