* Until 1215 PM CDT.



* At 1014 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 12 nm west of Aurora to 32 nm south of Joliet,

  moving northeast at 55 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.
