* Until 245 AM CDT.



* At 1247 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near High Island A33 to 7 nm southwest of Galveston

  317 to 10 nm northwest of East Matagorda Bay to 25 nm north of Port

  Lavaca, moving southwest at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.
