.NOW...

Through 9 pm...an outflow boundary will move out of eastern New 

Mexico and into the southwest Texas Panhandle. As the gust front 

moves through, the wind will abruptly shift to the west and 

northwest, with gusts of 30 to 40 mph expected. In addition, 

temperatures will drop about 10 degrees, into the middle and lower

80s. Isolated to scattered shower and thunderstorm activity will 

attempt to develop about 30 minutes after the gust front passes.

Spotty, generally light, rain will be possible with any activity.

Several locations that will experience the outflow include Rhea, 

Friona, Farwell, Lazbuddie and Muleshoe.
