Through 600 pm, a cluster of showers with isolated thunderstorms 

associated with conglomerating cloud streamers will continue to 

develop along and north of the Lower and Middle Keys. This activity 

will drift to the north at near 5 knots. Mariners encountering the 

strongest activity north of the Content Keys as well as just north of

Key West to Big Pine Key can expect moderate to heavy downpours 

reducing visibility and a few cloud to surface lightning strikes.

Wind gusts up to 25 knots, or 25 to 30 mph, may be observed near the

heaviest showers. A few island communities in the Lower Keys can 

except up to half of an inch of rainfall. Waterspouts also cannot be

ruled out. Mariners are reminded that a waterspout would most likely

appear beneath a dark, flat bottom of a building cumulus line, just 

at the hint of rain.

Through 700 pm, isolated showers with a stray thunderstorm will wax

and wane over the waters north of the Florida Keys island chain. This

activity is nearly stationary. Mariners encountering these showers

may experience reduced visibility in moderate to heavy downpours, a

stray lightning strike, and wind gusts up to 20 knots. Waterspouts also cannot be

ruled out. Mariners are reminded that a waterspout would most likely

appear beneath a dark, flat bottom of a building cumulus line, just 

at the hint of rain.
