Afternoon highs ranged from 70s in northeast Kansas to the low 90s in south central Kansas. A upper level weather disturbance will drop southeast across the central plains tonight. This will cause scattered showers and storms to develop over eastern areas of Nebraska and Kansas late tonight. A few of the storms could become strong to marginally severe and be capable of producing large hail up to quarter size. Overnight lows will range from the low 60s in eastern Nebraska to the upper 70s in central Oklahoma. On Monday, the scattered showers and storms will drift slowly southward from southern Missouri into Arkansas during the morning hours. Meanwhile the rest of the region is expected to remain dry with mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs will range from the lower 80s in eastern Nebraska to the hot triple digits in central Oklahoma. $$
