THROUGH 1245 AM CDT...



At 1207 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7

miles north of Waukon, moving east at 50 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Lansing around 1220 AM CDT.



Other locations impacted by this storm include Hanover, County Roads

A 26 And X 6 A, State Road 9 And County X 20, Quandahl, Red Barn

Campground, Churchtown, Village Creek, and Dorchester.

At 1222 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong

thunderstorms extending from 6 miles north of Elmwood to near Elk

Mound, or extending from 13 miles west of Menomonie to 9 miles

southeast of Menomonie, moving north at 50 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

  Menomonie, Colfax, Boyceville, Elk Mound, Elmwood, Knapp, Wheeler,

  Weston, Downing, Cedar Falls, Menomonie Airport, Tainter Lake,

  Hoffman Hills Rec Area, Downsville, Connorsville and Caryville.
