Very spotty accumulations of a hundredth of an inch or two were noted. Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours... Basin average rainfall is forecast to range from 0.5 to 1.25 inches north of the PA Turnpike, and from 0.25 to 0.75 inches to the south of that highway. Isolated higher totals in thunderstorms with heavy rain are possible. River trends... The Allegheny River may show a rise of around a foot or so by Monday. Other levels are generally forecast to remain steady or slowly fall into early next week. Wills Creek at Cambridge is expected to drop below flood stage on Sunday.
