Eel River at Bowling Green. .Intense rainfall the second half of today across parts of central Indiana will quickly bring flooding to the lower White River and to the Eel River in the Bowling Green, Indiana area. The heaviest rainfall fell from the Vigo and Sullivan county area in west central Indiana eastward to the Brown, Bartholomew and Shelby county area in central and southeast Indiana, with radar estimated totals peaking in the 3.00 to 3.60 inch range. As of Monday evening, flooding is expected primarily on the lower White River, but conditions through Tuesday night may necessitate later flooding warnings for the lower Wabash River and the Seymour area on the East Fork White River within the next couple of days or so.
