...The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Flood

Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota...



  Big Sioux River near Florence affecting Grant County.



.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes precipitation

through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation could affect the

forecasts.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

deaths occur in vehicles.



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars

through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 8.5 feet, water reaches the bottom of the bridge 1

  mile east and 1 1/2 mile north of the gauge.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending

    at 7:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 8.0 feet.

  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

Warning for the following rivers in Minnesota...



  Dobbins Creek at Austin 2NE affecting Mower County.



.Heavy rainfall amounts up to 5 inches fell within the Dobbins Creek

basin in the last 6 hours. This rain will route into the stream and

bring the river into Flood Stage tonight.

  - At 6:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.0 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.4 feet

    just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage

    late tomorrow morning.

  - Flood stage is 11.5 feet.
