...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH 

TUESDAY MORNING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.



* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Iowa, including 

  the following counties, in south central Iowa, Decatur, Ringgold 

  and Wayne. In southwest Iowa, Taylor.



* WHEN...From 5 PM CDT this afternoon through Tuesday morning.



* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 

  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - Soil moisture is relatively high due to recent heavy

    rainfall. Additional rainfall tonight may lead to flash

    flooding.
