A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...



Central and Southern Bay of Green Bay...



At 1248 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were

located along a line extending from 45 nm northwest of Marinette to

18 nm west of Crivitz to 6 nm northeast of Shawano to 11 nm west of

Oshkosh, moving east at 40 knots.



Strong thunderstorms will be near...

  Long Tail Point Light around 120 AM CDT.

  Green Bay Harbor Entrance Light and Oconto around 125 AM CDT.

  Bay Shore Park around 135 AM CDT.

  Marinette around 140 AM CDT.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
