  Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...

  Waters from Freeport to Matagorda Ship Channel TX from 20 to 60

  NM...

  Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 730 AM CDT.



* At 623 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing

  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 6 nm southwest

  of Galveston 344 to near Galveston A171 to 10 nm east of East

  Breaks 228, moving east at 35 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
