  Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...

  Galveston Bay...



At 934 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable 

of producing winds to or above around 30 knots. These thunderstorms 

were located along a line extending Liberty to The Woodlands to 

Navasota , moving south southwest at 30 knots.

  Burnet Bay around 1000 PM CDT.

  Crystal Bay around 1005 PM CDT.

  Trinity Bay, Mitchell Bay, Scott Bay, and Upper San Jacinto Bay 

  around 1010 PM CDT.

  Northwestern Galveston Bay, Black Duck Bay, and Tabbs Bay around 

  1015 PM CDT.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
