...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN LEE AND FAYETTE COUNTIES...

At 1104 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway to 7 miles
northeast of La Grange to near Muldoon, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Giddings, La Grange, Schulenburg, Shelby, Fayetteville, Round Top,
Muldoon, Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway, Carmine, Swiss Alp,
Dubina, Northrup, Rutersville, Warrenton, Ledbetter, Waldeck, Plum,
Ammannsville, Mullins Prairie, and Nechanitz.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
