...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN CHEROKEE...WOODBURY...SOUTHEASTERN PLYMOUTH AND
NORTHWESTERN IDA COUNTIES...

At 518 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Smithland, or
24 miles southeast of Sioux City, moving northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Correctionville and Anthon around 525 PM CDT.
  Pierson around 530 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Washta, Cushing and Quimby.
