...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN SIOUX...NORTHWESTERN PLYMOUTH...NORTHWESTERN
DAKOTA...NORTHEASTERN DIXON AND UNION COUNTIES...

At 616 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ponca, moving
north at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 610pm, trained weather 
         spotters reported quarter size hail 3 miles southwest of 
         Ponca, Nebraska!

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Elk Point and Ponca State Park around 620 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Akron, Hawarden and Alcester.
