FOR NORTHEASTERN HYDE...CENTRAL DARE AND SOUTH CENTRAL TYRRELL
COUNTIES...

At 654 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Alligator Lake to near Lake Mattamuskeet to near
Middletown, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Fairfield, Gull Rock, New Holland, Nebraska, Lake Landing,
Middletown, Fort Landing, and Lake Mattamuskeet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Newport.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
