* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Harnett County in central North Carolina...
  Wake County in central North Carolina...
  Johnston County in central North Carolina...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 623 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest
  of Clayton, or 11 miles west of Smithfield, moving northeast at 20
  mph. Another cell moving north from Holly Springs at 20 mph.  

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Raleigh, Cary, Smithfield, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, Angier,
  RDU International, Apex, and Holly Springs.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 107 and 87.
 Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 283 and 327.
 Interstate 440 between Mile Markers 1 and 16.
 Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 1 and 24.
 US 1 between Mile Markers 88 and 101.
