...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL WAKE AND CENTRAL JOHNSTON COUNTIES...

At 644 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cary, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported small hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Cary, Smithfield, Garner, Clayton, RDU International, Apex,
Morrisville, Knightdale, and Micro.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 107 and 90.
 Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 283 and 318.
 Interstate 440 between Mile Markers 1 and 16.
 Interstate 540 between Mile Markers 1 and 24.
 US 1 between Mile Markers 96 and 101.
