...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM MDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN CUSTER AND SOUTH CENTRAL PENNINGTON COUNTIES...

At 334 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hermosa, or 20
miles south of Rapid City, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Hermosa, Fairburn, Hayward, State Game Lodge, Buffalo Corrals,
  eastern Custer State Park and northeastern Wind Cave National Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
