Winds continue to be light, around 10 mph or less for all but south central South Dakota, where they remain out of the east with a few gusts in the 20 to 25 mph range. The driest air this afternoon will stay over north central South Dakota, around 25 to 30 percent, while staying above 35 percent elsewhere. A ridge of high pressure will continue to build across the Northern Plains, resulting in mainly dry weather through Saturday.
