SOUTHEASTERN PASQUOTANK AND SOUTHEASTERN CURRITUCK COUNTIES THROUGH
600 PM EDT...

At 519 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Shiloh, or near Weeksville, moving southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and frequent lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Frequent cloud to ground lightning 
         strikes.

Locations impacted include...
Elizabeth City, Weeksville, Old Trap, Indiantown, Whitehall Shores,
Shiloh, Glen Cove, Jarvisburg, Frog Island, Riddle, Texas, Goose
Creek, Bartlett, Taylors Beach, and Powells Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
