The areas affected include... Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to 
Sturgeon Point  MI 5NM off shore to US/Canadian border... Lake Huron 
from Sturgeon Point to Alabaster MI 5NM off shore to US/Canadian 
border... Presque Isle Light to Sturgeon Pt MI Including Thunder Bay 
National Marine Sanctuary... Sturgeon Pt to Alabaster MI...

At 218 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Sturgeon Point to 33 nm
northwest of Pinconning, moving east at 30 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
