...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THURSDAY...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southern Mower County in southeastern Minnesota...

* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many
  areas of slow moving or standing water to persist into the
  overnight hours. It will take several hours for all the water from
  these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 825 PM CDT, local law enforcement reports numerous city
    streets are flooded and closed. Interstate 90 at 11th drive is
    closed. Flooding is ongoing. Between 4.5 and 7 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Austin, Adams, Rose Creek, Dexter, Mapleview, Elkton, County
    Roads 56 And 5, Varco and Riverbend Campground.
  - This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 175
    and 194.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
