Fire weather concerns remain low through the period due to green fuels and generally light winds. High temperatures are forecast to remain in the 70s and 80s today before warming back into the 80s and 90s Thursday and Friday. The lowest minimum relative humidity through the workweek will be in the southwest. Minimum relative humidity is forecast to be around 40 percent in the southwest today, around 35 percent Thursday, then 25 to 30 percent on Friday. Very hot and dry conditions are expected this upcoming weekend. Again, the lowest relative humidities will be in the southwest, but will be much lower than during the week. Lowest relative humidities will drop to around 18 to 25 percent in the southwest Saturday, then 12 to 20 percent Sunday for all areas south and west of the Missouri River. Winds through the weekend are expected to be southerly, 10 to 20 mph Saturday afternoon, 15 to 25 mph Sunday afternoon, with a few higher gusts possible during max heating.
