...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM MDT FOR
ADAMS, WESTERN ARAPAHOE, DENVER AND WELD COUNTIES...

At 406 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Keenesburg to near Aurora, or along a line from 26 miles
southeast of Greeley to 11 miles east of Denver, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Northeastern Denver, Aurora, eastern Commerce City, Denver
  International Airport, D.I.A Terminal and Concourses and Hudson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

If on or near a lake, get away from the water and move indoors or
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from
the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be
caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
