...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM MDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN LOGAN COUNTY...

At 951 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near North Sterling
Reservoir, or 9 miles northwest of Sterling, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Sterling, Iliff, North Sterling Reservoir, Logan Corners, Padroni,
  Pawnee Pass and Westplains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and dangerous hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

Heavy rain is occurring with this storm and may lead to flooding. Do
not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
