Widespread rainfall will taper off this afternoon and evening with additional upslope rain and/or snow showers across the western slopes of the Green and Adirondack Mountains expected through Saturday morning. Additional rainfall amounts are likely to be a tenth of an inch or less but some locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out across portions of southern Vermont.
