...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ESSEX AND SOUTH CENTRAL
CLINTON COUNTIES UNTIL 645 PM EDT...

At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
North Elba, or near Lake Placid, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Lake Placid, Wilmington, Jay, Black Brook, Keene, Lewis, North
  Elba, St Armand, AuSable, Peru, Chesterfield, Upper Jay and Jay In
  Essex County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
