It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1002 PM EDT, emergency officials reported flooding ongoing across portions of the North Charleston area. Some homes and buildings remain flooded with particular concern in the neighborhoods near New Ryder Road.
