...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Beaufort County in southeastern South Carolina...
  Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina...
  Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina...

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 841 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with
    torrential rainfall extending from Lobeco and Dale east to
    Wiggins, Rockville and Kiawah Island. The risk for minor flooding
    of poor drainage and low-level areas will increase as these
    storms work to the coast.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Beaufort, Edisto Beach, Johns Island, James Island, Folly Beach,
    Seabrook Island, Kiawah Island, Rockville, Bennetts Point and
    Edisto Island.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
