The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Nearshore and Open waters from Maumee Bay OH to Avon Point OH...

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1205 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 9 nm southeast
  of Monroe Harbor to near Put-In-Bay, moving east at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could 
           result in structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  Reno Beach, Put-In-Bay, Western Vermilion, Kelleys Island, Sandusky
  Bay, Huron, Lorain Harbor, and Vermilion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
