...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ADAMS COUNTY
THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Emmitsburg, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gettysburg, Littlestown, Carroll Valley, Bonneauville, Lake Heritage,
Fairfield, Two Taverns, Gettysburg National Military Park, Liberty
Mountain Resort, and Gettysburg College.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
