Light to moderate rain showers ongoing through 7-8 AM this morning, with additional accumulations on the order of 0.05-0.2" before it ends this morning. After the rain clears out this morning, winds will be light and variable in the morning becoming northeasterly to east- northeasterly in the afternoo while remaining light. Min RH drops to around 80% today. Winds increase significantly out of the northeast this evening and overnight at 7-11 mph with gusts of 15-20 mph. Rain and thunderstorm chances return this evening into early Tuesday morning. Latest model guidance keeps the heaviest rain and thunderstorms southeast of the fire area, with around half an inch of rainfall this evening through early Tuesday, though locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out if any thunderstorms move over the fire area. Tuesday, winds weaken as rainfall ends and turn to the northwest by mid morning. Winds from late Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon will be 5-7 mph with gusts to around 15 mph.
