Northerly winds at 5-7 mph with gusts of 11-14 mph through this afternoon with cloudy skies and low ceilings (700 ft or less) continuing. High temperature forecast of around 57 degrees this afternoon, with minimum RH of 70-75% being higher than previously forecast. Precipitation is not expected until this evening in the form of scattered showers, with the best potential for better shower coverage and a few embedded thunderstorms in the 10 PM to 2 AM timeframe, then a lower potential for stray, light showers until around sunrise. The heaviest rain potential once again remains southeast of the fire area, but an additional 0.20-0.40 inches are forecast. The higher end of that range would mainly occur if any storms move over the fire area. RH recovers above 95% tonight with northerly winds of 7-10 mph and gusts of up to around 20 mph. Winds back to northwesterly on Tuesday at 10-13 mph with gusts up to around 20 mph and skies transitioning from cloudy in the morning to mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Afternoon mixing could lead to a 10% chance for isolated rain showers in the mid- afternoon through around sunset Tuesday, but little to no accumulations are expected.
