Light northeast winds continue the remainder of the afternoon into early evening, with min RH bottoming out around 80-90% and cloudy skies. Winds increase significantly out of the northeast this evening and overnight at 7-11 mph with gusts of 15-23 mph, strongest in the late evening and early overnight hours. Rain and thunderstorms return this evening into early Tuesday morning, with the best coverage and potential in the 11 PM through 3 AM timeframe. The latest model guidance keeps the heaviest rain and thunderstorms southeast of the fire area, with around 0.3 to 0.5 inches of additional rainfall this evening through early Tuesday, though locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out if any thunderstorms move over the fire area. Tuesday, winds weaken in the early morning as rainfall ends as rainfall ends and turn to the northwest after sunrise. Winds from late Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon have bumped up slightly to 7-11 mph with gusts of 15-20 mph, strongest in the afternoon.
