...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Outer Saginaw Bay SW of Alabaster to Port Austin MI to Inner 
  Saginaw Bay...

At 308 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds up to 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 11 nm east of Oscoda to near East Tawas
to 30 nm northwest of Pinconning, moving east at 25 knots.

Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds up to 30 knots, locally higher waves,
and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately
until these storms pass.
