...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EDT
FOR CENTRAL WAYNE COUNTY...

At 450 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Grosse Pointe to Downtown Detroit to near
Romulus, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Taylor, Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit, Dearborn, and Greenfield 
  Village around 455 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Inkster, Highland Park, Melvindale, Sumpter Township, New Boston,
Garden City, Northeast Detroit, Wayne, Northwest Detroit, and Harper
Woods.
