...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL WHITESIDE...NORTHERN HENRY AND NORTHWESTERN BUREAU
COUNTIES...

At 840 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Hooppole to near Shady Beach, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Geneseo, Colona, Hooppole, Dayton, Yorktown, Thomas, and Green River.

This includes Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 7 and 9,
and between mile markers 11 and 20.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
