* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Caldwell County in south central Texas...
  Southern Hays County in south central Texas...
  Guadalupe County in south central Texas...
  Southeastern Travis County in south central Texas...
  Bastrop County in south central Texas...
  Northwestern Gonzales County in south central Texas...
  Eastern Comal County in south central Texas...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 925 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Pflugerville to near San Marcos to near
  Smithson Valley, moving southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Austin, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Pflugerville, Schertz, Kyle,
  Seguin, Cibolo, Buda, Lockhart, Elgin, Bastrop, Luling, Wimberley,
  Austin Bergstrom Int Airport, Canyon Lake Dam, Canyon Lake, Manor,
  McQueeney, and Martindale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
