...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Medina,
southwestern Bandera, Kinney, Uvalde, southwestern Edwards, east
central Val Verde and southern Real Counties through 1130 PM CDT...

At 1034 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Utopia to near Amanda. Movement was
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Uvalde, Hondo, Brackettville, Leakey, Spofford, Sabinal, Camp Wood,
Laguna, Barksdale, Quihi, Concan, Cline, Anacacho, Reagan Wells,
Utopia, Alamo Village, Knippa, Rio Frio, New Fountain, and Amanda.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
