This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

A Heat advisory is in effect for Southeast Georgia. Heat index 
values between 100 to 105 are expected.

Isolated to scattered chances for afternoon thunderstorms are 
possible this afternoon across north and central Georgia. While 
widespread severe weather is not expected, a few storms could 
contain gusty winds and frequent lightning. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Hot conditions persist, with heat index values forecast to be in 
the upper 90s to low 100s into the weekend.

Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected each day.
Isolated to scattered storms Friday will increase in coverage, 
becoming numerous over the weekend.
