A few scattered thunderstorms developing along a southward passing cold front this evening as well as storms racing in from the west may bring a few rounds of scattered storms to the area. The strongest storms may be capable of producing severe hail up to the size of half dollars as well as severe thunderstorm wind gusts up to near 70MPH. The main timeframe for severe weather will come between 6PM and 3AM. Additionally, localized heavy rainfall could lead to minor flooding in some areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Thunderstorms are expected to cross into a few mainly western and southern portions of the area Thursday night. A few of the stronger storms may have the potential to become marginally severe with hail up to the size of quarters and wind gust up to 60MPH possible. A limited thunderstorm chance returns for Friday night.
