.DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms on the terrain will continue to 
threaten strong outflow gusts and lightning this afternoon. A weak
chance for wetting rain exists. However, most rainfall will 
taper as storms move off the adjacent terrain. Shower activity 
will quickly diminish early this evening. This will temper 
relative humidities to less critical tonight. On Friday, hot and dry 
conditions return with isolated instances of critical fire weather
in the afternoon, but overall conditions will remain subcritical 
Friday and beyond as the hot and dry airmass builds into the 
region, along with lighter winds.
