Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the weekend as relative humidity is forecast to be above 20% across the area. The flow is also forecast to be come weaker, likely limiting winds below 25 mph in the absence of storms. Wind direction may vary quite a bit though, so be careful if dealing with any fires. The storms today through Friday may be able to spark fires with lightning as they may not be efficient rain producers. Be alert for strong wind gusts above 60 mph and blowing dust with visibility below a mile with storm outflows. There is a 30% chance areas in northwestern Kansas may receive 1-2+ inches of rain over the next couple of days.
