...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT YUMA COUNTY THROUGH 815 PM MDT...

At 745 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southeast of St Petersburg to 5 miles
southeast of Eckley to 10 miles west of Bonny Reservoir. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Wray and Bonny Reservoir around 755 PM MDT.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 207 and 210, and
between mile markers 212 and 269.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central Colorado.
