A moist and unstable air mass will linger through Tuesday morning, along with a threat of showers and thunderstorms. Strong to severe storms and heavy rainfall will be possible at times through tonight. A warm front will bring above normal temperatures today into tonight, but this will change as a cold front moves through late tonight into Tuesday morning. The cold front will bring west to northwest winds gusting to 25 to 35 mph on Tuesday. A much drier air mass returns on Wednesday and Thursday. This will bring potential for frost or freeze conditions over northern WI late Tuesday night and late Wednesday night. Low relative humidity in the 20 to 35 percent range can be expected in the sandy soil areas on Wednesday and Thursday.
